Corundum tumbling media is an abrasive media used in mass finishing processes, such as tumbling or vibratory finishing, to achieve effective surface treatment on various materials. Made from corundum, a crystalline form of aluminum oxide, this media is known for its exceptional hardness and durability. This material is often made similarly like porcelain tumbling spheres and ceramic tumbling spheres.

    Density: Corundum tumbling media: 4/cm³

    Abrasive Efficiency: Corundum, being a very hard material (9 on the Mohs scale), provides efficient abrasive properties, which can lead to quicker and more effective deburring, edge rounding, and surface conditioning of the parts being tumbled.
