This can add character and depth to jewelry, sculptures, and other metal objects.To create an antiqued and aged appearance on metals using Liver of sulfur, set up your workspace with Liver of sulfur, a heat-resistant container, a heat source, metal tongs, and the metal object you want to patinate. Create a Liver of sulfur solution by dissolving a small amount of the solid in hot water. Submerge the metal object in the solution for varying durations depending on the depth of patina desired. Remove and rinse the object with water to stop the patination process.
